About The Little Yogi

My name is Candace Rhoill the owner and founder of The little Yogi.

I am a Preschool director and former preschool teacher. I hold a degree in early Childhood education as well as a level 2 trauma credential. I also have a certificate in yoga for children! I created the Little Yogi out of my passion for working with preschoolers and my love for yoga and mindfulness. A combination that will help children thrive in a playful yet purposeful way.

My multidisciplinary approach promotes whole child development through mindful music and movement, language and literacy development, gross-motor activities, playful poses, breath work, and social emotional development with peers.

The Little Yogi will begin offering classes in May of 2023.This is the first yoga program founded in Cincinnati to be fully focused on children 2.5-7 years of age! I know and understand child development from my individual profession and integrate what I have learned from that experience and other educators.

I focus on what is appropriate for the child by meeting them where they are developmentally and building from there each class. I encourage my students to be curious on the mat by offering mindful moments connected to breath through yoga, music, literacy, and play so they can lead their lives with balance, peace and joy during their practice and in their everyday lives.
